Questions to ask a trade school Bring this list to the tour.

Before you sign

Admissions reps are friendly and they are also selling. These questions get you the facts you need. A good school answers them clearly and in writing; a school that dodges them is telling you something.

In short

Before enrolling in a trade school, ask who accredits it, what the total cost is with every fee, what share of students finish on time, what share pass the licensing exam, how many graduates work in the field within six months, where clinical or externship hours happen and what happens to your money if you withdraw. Get the answers in writing.
